| Girard - PerregauxConstant Girard1791- Jean Francois Baute created his first timepieces and established a manufactory in Geneva. 1837- Jacques Bautte and Jean Samuel Rossel took over from J.F. Bautte, who left them an extremely valuable industrial and cultural inheritance. (They would later merge with Gerard Perregaux, around 1906.) 1854- Constant Girard married Marie Perregaux-from their union the Girard Perregaux was borin in 1856. 1867-Constant Girard introduced his Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges. 1880 Constant Girard designed and produced the very first production wristwatch. 1966 Girard-Perregaux produced the first high-frequency mechanical watch.
1969 it produced the first mass-produced quartz watch. Watch ranges include the Equation. The second oldest Swiss watch manufacturer based in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The latest, called "ww.tc" and featuring a world time function, joins the line of classic timekeepers that bring together sophisticated technology and pure styling in a generously-sized case.
